From this platform, I will share the reasons that lead me to describe Hispania, that peninsula in southwestern Europe, as both “mother” and “refuge».

But before delving into the subject, I believe a preamble is necessary: ​​To assert something like “Hispania, Mother and Refuge” must be based on convincing reasons and data; however, for data to be convincing, it needs to:.

1) The person presenting it should justify it.

2) The person receiving it should read it with an honestly open mind, not with a monolithic stance of denying everything that differs from their existing beliefs or finding it unpleasant to admit this new information, without analysing the reasons offered.On which truths can we base our arguments?

Today we have a vast source of information: the Internet (the international network); but the sheer volume of malicious distortions of history, the volume of lies, hoaxes, manipulative ideas, etc., etc., is such that it is very difficult to distinguish between truth and falsehood and avoid being deceived. Above all, the new generations, who understandably adopt a stance of not easily accepting the status quo, because the visible results and the future offered to them do not correspond to the religious, idealistic, moral, social, and political exaltations that for so many years and centuries painted a picture of a perfect present.

This is precisely why today’s young generations, driven more by their visceral feelings than by their intellectual reasoning, readily accept any well-presented lie as truth, and today AI, like non-artificial intelligence, is capable of presenting the greatest lies and the greatest absurdities as absolute reality.

For me and for all of us who lived through the second half of the 20th century, it is very sad to see that this century is the century of ignorance and deception; because the film «2001: A Space Odyssey» in 1968 and the moon landing a year later convinced us that this century would be the one with the long-awaited end of wars, of unity and understanding, of outstanding, natural, not artificial, intelligence, in which we would already be strolling through space… …but we see that we are in the century of the complete opposite.

Then we have those obsessed with the end times foretold in the Book of Revelation in the Bible, as something imminent.

Years ago, it was published, even accompanied by films, and confirmed by Nostradamus and the infallible (according to many indigenous peoples) Mayan calendar, that this end of the world was going to happen in December 2012… and here we are.

According to Professor Dr. Antonio Piñero, in his book «The Apocalypses,» there isn’t just one apocalypse, but rather 45 apocalyptic texts written in the centuries before and after Jesus of Nazareth. All these apocalypses share the same framework: the situation of the Jewish people under oppression, suffering enormous calamities, and the end of that scenario after the fall of the evilest of all the evildoers. But, of the 45, the one chosen (I don’t know on what basis) is that of John, who was exiled to a deserted island and the poor man surely ate whatever he could find; possibly even some herbs that caused him to hallucinate… but no, in this case it was a revelation from God; something that depends solely on interpretation.

The funny thing is that most of the people who expect this to happen—that evil will end and the good (that is, themselves) will be saved—don’t read the Book of Revelation carefully. They don’t notice that only 144,000 people will be saved; that is, 1.31% of the current world population. But, furthermore, they will be Jewish (12,000 from each of the 12 tribes) and they will have never had a wife. Therefore, I deduce that only Jewish women who are not lesbians, plus single, bachelor, and homosexual Jews, will be saved. Logically, I can’t see it any other way.

Someone will say I’m being disrespectful. Not at all. I’m speaking with the utmost respect and love for God (although my image of God is somewhat different from that of most religions and from the one that atheists reject). Precisely for this reason, I speak with complete honesty and without fear of God being angry with me.

Religion (and especially Islam, which is very insistent on this) says that one must live in the fear of God; not me, I live in the fear of myself, since I am the only one who can deceive or be deceived. God is the being I fear least because He is the greatest love, justice, and understanding that can exist, given that nothing exists that is not in God in its highest degree. The problem is not religions, the problem is the interpretation of their sacred books, which are heavily manipulated by the interests of various groups depending on the temples and congregations.

If this is done with something as lofty as religion, the vision of God, and all things spiritual, what can we expect from the interpretation of history if we don’t apply an open mind and use intelligence and reason, which is what we have them for?
